The neutralization of CBD with NIODOR®  takes place through adsorption, absorption, and chemical reaction/elimination (the Zwaardemaker pair theory) in combination with positive and negative ions (+ and −) and Van der Waals forces (weak attractive forces between molecules).

NIODOR® is a 100% natural formula of undiluted essential oils, extracted from plants via steam distillation, which are then dispersed into the air (aerosol) by means of the diffuser. This diffuser can be operated both via an app and manually, and runs on batteries or via a USB-C cable. The diffuser disperses an aerosol (fine mist) of the NIODOR® formula, which completely neutralizes the scent of CBD, making it undetectable anywhere.

A carbon filter only treats the air that is drawn through it, and for this, it requires a ventilation system, additional equipment, air ducts, installation, and maintenance, and it does not fully neutralize the CBD odor. NIODOR® works differently: the aerosol from the atomizer consists of millions of micro-droplets that create a very large surface area; the same as the inside of a carbon filter or a catalytic converter. The CBD odor molecules bind to these micro-droplets, thereby neutralizing the CBD odor at the source.
